1P24: v) Asymmetric aldol condensation as a route to polypropionate derived pheromones

J. P. DiBattista and F. X. Webster⁶¹ developed a new route for polypropionate derived pheromones using asymmetric aldol condensation as the key step for the synthesies of 129 and 134 as shown in scheme 24a and 24b following the procedure of Evans.⁶²
